Description

These Easy Ooey-Gooey Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps are creamy, melty, and packed with savory garlic flavor. Tender shredded chicken gets coated in a garlic cream cheese sauce, then folded with mozzarella and cheddar, wrapped in tortillas, and toasted until golden and crispy—perfect for a quick family dinner.

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

4 large flour tortillas

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and olive oil and let the butter melt.

2. Add minced garlic and sauté 20–30 seconds until fragrant (don’t brown).

3. Stir in softened cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.

4. Add shredded chicken and stir until fully coated and warmed through, about 2–3 minutes.

5. Remove skillet from heat. Fold in mozzarella and cheddar until they start to melt into the mixture.

6. Lay tortillas flat. Divide filling evenly among tortillas, placing it in the center.

7. Roll tortillas tightly into wraps (fold sides in, then roll up).

8. Return wraps seam-side down to the skillet over medium heat and toast 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm while the cheese is ooey-gooey.

Notes

Make it crispier: Lightly brush tortillas with butter before toasting.

Kid-friendly: Use 2 cloves garlic for a milder flavor.

Add veggies: Stir in sautéed spinach or bell peppers.

Storage: Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet, air fryer, or oven for best texture.

Optional oven/foil method: Wrap in foil and warm at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
