Description
Flaky, golden biscuits stuffed with savory roast beef and melty provolone, brushed with a herbed garlic butter and served with warm au jus for dipping. Fast, cozy, and perfect for weeknights or game day.
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
8 slices deli roast beef
8 slices provolone cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
2. Separate the biscuit dough and gently flatten each biscuit into a 4–5 inch circle.
3. Place 1 slice provolone and 1 slice roast beef in the center of each flattened biscuit.
4. Fold edges up and pinch tightly to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
6. Brush the seasoned butter generously over each biscuit.
7. Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
8. While biscuits bake, warm beef broth and Worcestershire sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat until hot (do not boil hard).
9. Serve biscuits warm with au jus on the side for dipping.
Notes
Cheese swaps: mozzarella or Swiss work great.
Lower sodium: use low-sodium beef broth and reduced-sodium deli roast beef if available.
Extra flavor: add a pinch of dried parsley or Italian seasoning to the butter.
Storage: refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days; reheat in oven/air fryer for best texture. Store au jus separately.
