Description

Craving a festive treat that’s both nostalgic and indulgent? This eggnog milkshake with vanilla ice cream is thick, creamy, and warmly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Finished with whipped cream and a dusting of nutmeg, it’s the ultimate holiday dessert drink—ready in under 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups eggnog

1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Whipped cream, for topping

Nutmeg or cinnamon stick, optional garnish

Optional: 1/2–1 tsp vanilla extract (extra flavor)

Instructions

1. Add eggnog, vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a blender (add eggnog first for easier blending).

2. Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until thick and smooth.

3. Taste and adjust spices (add a pinch more cinnamon or nutmeg if desired). Add vanilla extract if using.

4. Pour into chilled glasses.

5. Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with nutmeg or cinnamon, and garnish with a cinnamon stick if you like.

6. Serve immediately.

Notes

Family-safe: This version is alcohol-free.

Make it thicker: Add an extra 1/2 cup ice cream.

Dairy-free: Use plant-based eggnog + dairy-free vanilla ice cream.

Lower sugar: Use light eggnog or reduce ice cream slightly.

Best fresh: Milkshakes don’t store well after blending—blend right before serving.
