Description
Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese is the ultimate 15-minute comfort lunch—crispy, buttery garlic bread on the outside with gooey mozzarella-cheddar melt inside. Quick, easy, and seriously satisfying.
Ingredients
4 slices bread
2 tbsp butter, softened
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1 cup shredded mozzarella & cheddar cheese blend
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder and dried parsley until smooth.
2. Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each bread slice.
3. Place two slices of bread butter-side down. Add cheese evenly on top.
4. Top with remaining bread slices, butter-side facing up, to form sandwiches.
5. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook 3–4 minutes until golden and crisp.
6. Flip carefully and cook another 3–4 minutes until the second side is golden and cheese is melted.
7. Remove from heat, rest 1 minute, slice, and serve hot.
Notes
Cheese swaps: all mozzarella for extra stretch or all cheddar for sharper flavor.
Bread swaps: sourdough, whole wheat, or brioche work great.
For extra flavor: add a pinch of onion powder or Italian seasoning.
Best reheating method: warm in a skillet over medium-low to re-crisp (avoid microwaving if possible).
