Description
Bring joy to your breakfast table with these Magical Reindeer Pancakes—a festive, playful winter breakfast made with fluffy pancakes, crispy “antlers,” and cute fruit faces. Perfect for Christmas morning, holiday brunch, or any cozy weekend when you want breakfast to feel extra special.
Ingredients
1 cup pancake batter (prepared)
4 slices turkey bacon or beef bacon (family-safe)
1 banana, sliced into rounds
2 raspberries
4 chocolate chips (or raisins/blueberries)
Maple syrup, for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare pancake batter if needed. Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease.
2. Pour batter to make round pancakes. Cook until bubbles form and edges look set, then flip and cook until golden. Keep warm.
3. Cook turkey or beef bacon until crisp. Let cool slightly, then cut slices in half to form “antlers.”
4. Place one pancake on each plate.
5. Add 2 banana slices for eyes and press 1 chocolate chip onto each banana slice for pupils.
6. Place 1 raspberry in the center as the nose.
7. Arrange 2 bacon pieces at the top sides of the pancake to look like antlers.
8. Serve immediately with maple syrup on the side (or drizzle lightly).
Notes
Best texture: Use crisp bacon so the antlers hold their shape.
Kid-friendly tip: Set up a “decorate your own reindeer” station with fruit and chips.
Substitutions: Chocolate chips can be swapped for raisins or blueberries. Use dairy-free pancake mix if needed.
Make-ahead: Cook pancakes and bacon ahead; assemble right before serving for the cutest look.
Storage: Store leftover pancakes separately in the fridge up to 2 days. Reheat, then decorate fresh.
